Letter from Catherine de Ballandre [signs Catherine De Bellander] to an unnamed peer detailing her unsuccessful attempts to obtain financial relief [as the widow of Captain John de Ballandre] and asking that her enclosed petition to the Bishop of London be signed 'so that she may obtain some relief from his Majesty's Bounty'. She mentions the Duke of Dorset, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, and the Duke of Devonshire. Seized.
