Part 2, Folio 20. From Forget de Beaulieu. To James Payzant. Place: Epsom, [Surrey].
A letter seeking employment abroad, and justifying leaving the service of Monsieur Sanxay, whom he criticises severely. Beaulieu is impatient for the arrival of Lord Baltimore and his brother Monsieur Calvert, who have promised to help. He has been offered a place teaching French at a location fifteen miles from Epsom [Surrey], but he is dissatisfied with the prospects on offer there. His grandmother will send him a small sum via Monsieur Pouchoud, and he requests two or three guineas from Payzant via Chering [Charring] Cross [London, Middlesex]. Sends regards to Mr and Mrs Payzant and Monsieur Jonny.
