A letter commiserating on the death of Payzant's brother, who was an agent to Sir Luke Shaub [Schaub]. Petitot recommends a neighbour, George Boyd, as his replacement; Boyd formerly worked in the office of Monsieur Clement, and needs the salary to support his sister, after caring for his mother for many years.
