A letter soliciting employment abroad in Spain or Italy, giving an account of his service in France under the Earl of Stair. Also mentions service with Lord Wharton and under Secretary [Paul] Methuen, and in Sweden during 'Count Gillingburgh's [Karl Gyllenborg's] time' and the late [Jacobite] Rebellion. Endorsed as received on 4 June 1726.
