Copy of an examination of Christopher Perry, of Carter Lane, London, concerning his failed efforts to publish a manifesto from [Spain's Ambassador in London] the Marquis of Pozzobueno on the detention of the Duke of Ripperda at the residence of the British ambassador in Madrid, Colonel [William] Stanhope. Neither the 'Daily Post' nor the 'Post Boy' would print it. Mentions Perry's conversations with the Emperor's [Chares VI's] resident in Hanover Square [Middlesex, London]. Witnessed by [the Duke of] Devonshire and [Lord] Townsend.
