The information of Mark Partridge concerning Gabriel Lawrence, who he has seen in several houses 'noted for entertaining sodomites', especially at Mrs Clapp's in Field Lane, St Andrews, Holborn, and at one Jones's house at the 'Crown and Tobacco Roll', Drury Lane [Middlesex]. Refers to amarriage 'as they call it' between Lawrence and Willm [William] Stevens alias Susanna Fairstitch, a shoemaker; Lawrence's cohabitation with Peter Babbidge as 'man and wife'; and his friendship with one Holbrook who has been pilloried for 'sodomitical practices'.
