The deposition of Roger Nicholas, of Gardeners Lane, near Duke Street, Westminster [Middlesex], concerning the murder of [John Ferguson] a 'patrol' [?patrolman] on the dunghill near the end of the five fields near Buckingham House [Middlesex]. Mentions an associate of the murderer, named John Moregard. (1) The deposition of Mary Lee, of the 'Genoese Arms', at the end of the five fields, near Chelsea [Middlesex], concerning the suspects in the murder, whom she believed spoke Dutch, and concerning the bringing of the victim's body into her house.
