Part 2, Folio 9. From C Hopkins, Postmaster of Lancaster. To Captain J Bell.
Information of Ann Bradley's relations with Philip Roche. She was 26 years old, daughter of Henry Bradley an Irish shopkeeper. A report in her town spoke of her transportation. Her sister, who dealt in dinner cloths, facilitated the exchange of letters between Ann and Roche, through the coffee house. Roche posed as a rich German nobleman, husband of Ann. Captain Chester (?) of Hanover Square assisted.
