Copies of two letters. Hamilton speaks of receiving a bottle of beer, and sending four bottles of brandy. (Possibly code language). Mentions Mr Philpott and Mr Roch. Reprimanding someone for negligence. Goods have not been sent. The author asks for an answer as soon as this letter is received. Richmond asks for the enclosed to be delivered into the hands of the young lady. Speaks of disappointment exprienced by 'our friends here'
