Description

Part 1, Folio 157. From Emund Gibson, Bishop of London (?).

Proposal for an exchange between incumbents of three livings, one in the gift of the King. Mr Denne, Chaplain to the Bishop of Rochester, presently in Greens-Norton Northamptonshire should have Shoreditch; Mr Stanley, presently in Shoreditch should have Hadham in Hertfordshire: The Bishop 'will have a good young man, a supporter of the King', in a London parish.
