Folios 170-171. 'List of His Majesty's natural born subjects in the French service before the declaration of war' with dates of their commissions, length of service and where confined. James Seaton; Murtagh Megenis; Robert Grace; Alex [Alexander] McDonnell; John Reilly; Edward Dunn; Lancellot [sic] Colbert; Alex [Alexander] Bailie; Robert Cameron; Thomas Nairn; Adam Urquhart; Samuel Cameron; John Gray; William Moore; Gabriel Fox. There is a nota bene that there are not any officers in the Tower, Marshalsea and New Goal [Southwark] 'who have entered into the French service (as they say) since the declaration of war against France in March 1743/4'.
