Part 1, Folio 85. From T V. To Charles, Viscount Townshend.
Anonymous letter offering information about 'a certain Germane' [German] a former schoolfellow of Plunket. He does not know this German by name but Hooke of the Stamp Office does and where to find him. He says Sir C [Constantine] Phipps formerly had presents from both the Pretender and the late Duke of Ormond and still corresponds with them. He mentions Mr Hungerford being visited by Bishop London [?Bishop of London] and Lord Strafford.
