Dorothy Spinckes to an unnamed man that her husband [Nathaniel] 'had great reason to expect' that he would have conducted the funeral of 'that worthy good gentleman' Captain Dean. She details the difficulties she, her husband and family have suffered for the sake of the church and says 'here is a great crime charged upon Mr Spinckes and his wife not allowed to help him in his misfortunes which the care of you all has brought upon him'. Endorsed 'This copy of a letter and three other papers was taken from Mrs Spincks by us Danll [Daniel] Chandler and Vall [Valentine] Randall'.
