Folios 64-65. From Elizabeth Layer. To [Christopher] Layer, at his house in Southampton Buildings, near Chancery Lane [London]. Place: Rouen, France.
A letter advising her husband [Jacobite suspect Christopher Layer] that she will route her return to England from France through Rouen, rather then via Dieppe, where a fever has broken out. The letter is endorsed with the initials of [?messengers] J St and Wm S.
