Description

Part 1, Folios 103-106. From Josi Ferns [Josiah Hort, Bishop of Ferns, Dublin]. Place: Orange Street [Westminster].

A letter complaining of 'an affected panegyric on those who put King Charles the First to death' by a Jacobite author pretending to be a Whig, enclosing: (1) A copy of 'The Weekly Journal: or, British Gazetteer', dated 26 January 1723, containing a letter from October Greenwood, a poem, and reflections on the reigns of Henry VIII and Edward VI.
