Advising him of the expected arrival at Arbroath of a ship from Rotterdam with a Mr Carnegie, Newgate's son, on board carrying a large packet from the late Earl of Southesk to Mr Melvill of Cairnie to be delivered to Colonel Clepham's daughter Mrs Malcombe [? Malcolm]. Directing Brent to search Carnegie for the letters and packets he brings with him and send an account of what he (Brent) does. Draft.
