I received the favour of yours wherein you told me of the unjustifiable reprisals they were going to make in Flanders upon some English for facts committed by the Swedes. I put it into my lord's hands, but have not received it back again, and know not what his his lordship may have to say upon it, however I think as you take it and represent it, you will prevent its producing a clamour here'. 'I don't hear from any quarter one word of certainty concerning [Robert] Knight'.
