Place of accident: Walmer, Kent.
Injury: Bad bruise on arm.
Details of accident: When roping trucks of coal at Walmer, the tow rope iron broke of London Chatham and Dover wagon 1816 and a piece struck him on the arm causing a bad bruise. This was the 7.30am Goods train from Dover to Deal. Driver: H Sinclair.
