Letter taken from the lodging room of Catherine Lucas by Daniel Chandler, Jos [?Joseph] Ellis and Jane Pickering on 21 October 1723 in which are references to, inter alia, 'honest S [blank]' delivering bales of goods; Norman Terie who has given the writer 'most barbarous insults' and doubtless exposed him all over Town; 'the vile scoundrel Bacon'; 'poor Dr [dear] Catto'; Andrews; the 'Alderman'; and Barre [Bar le Duc, Lorraine].
