Notes of a meeting at which the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Lord Chamberlain, the Lord Steward, the Duke of Roxburghe, Earl of Berkeley, Earl Godolphin, Earl Cadogan and the Chancellor of the Exchequer [Robert Walpole] were present. Topics referred to include the pardon of [the Jacobite] Lord George Murray 'if His Majesty think fit to do it'; Judge [Alexander] Denton's letter [on behalf of John East]; military matters for which Mr Arnold was called in; the riot near Gloucester.
