Folios 55-57. From Samuel Buckley. (1) Miles [Myles] Allanson [Allison][Aliston]. To (1) [Samuel] Buckley. Place: (1) 'The comon side' [of Newgate Gaol [London, Middlesex].
A letter enclosing another from Allanson [Allison or Aliston], following receipt of which Buckley visited Allanson in prison to hear him out. Allanson gives information on the Irish regiments in France, and four officers: Macarty [McCarty][McCartin], Oneal [O'Neal], Obryan [O'Brien] and Ryley [Riley]; and on [Jacobite] recruitment in England, particularly in Kent. (1) A letter offering to give information of 'great consequence'.
