Folio 104. Thomas Reed [or Reid] to Charles Delafaye. Petition. That his brother James Reed was prevailed upon by James O'Bryan [or Obrian] to go to France to enlist in the Pretender's service and is now in Sedan. Thomas Reed has, with difficulty, apprehended O'Bryan who has been taken into custody and is to be examined by Delafaye. Reed prays that proper directions be given that 'his brother may be set at liberty in order to return to his family and country'. Endorsed 'Referred the petitioner to Mr Cracherode or Mr Paxton'.
