Folio 82. James Ferris, a prisoner in Newgate, to Charles Delafaye. Petition requesting that the petitioner's friend, who comes 'out of mere charity and pity', be admitted to see Delafaye 'in order to make a small proposition'. [Oldbaileyonline.org gives Ferris's conviction date for coining as 26 February 1729 and the date of the report to the King in Council as 20 March 1729 following which Ferris was reprieved].
