Folio 67. Sarah Jones wife of Phillip Jones to 'John, Lord Viscount Townesend [sic]'. Petition. That her husband is in Newgate for making derogatory comments about the King and government when so drunk 'he had absolutely deprived himself of the use of his reason and understanding' and praying Townshend 'to think of some expedient to set him at liberty for the sake of your poor and destitute petitioner as well as his innocent and helpless children'.
