Relating that following the arrest by Sir Anthony Sturt of Eads the butcher of Hartley Row [Hamphire] for trespass Eads was rescued by William Wodison of Hartley Row and Richard Smith of Mattingley [Hampshire] and saying that if a proclamation cannot be obtained from the King offering a reward and pardon to bring in Eads, Woodison and Smith 'it will make all prosecutions we have laid before us ineffectual'. A Mr Pitt is mentioned.
