Folio 176.

Memorandum: 'Mr Cardonnel was informed that Captain Boning that was with my Lord North and Grey when taken at the Isle of Wight was seen to come on Sunday last in the afternoon to his mother in law's Mrs Woodcock at the boarding school in a hackney coach; that his wife who is Mrs Woodcock's daughter comes to town three or four times a week and no doubt may be dogged to her husband's lodgings'.
