Folio 164. From John Horne. To A Croker.
Mr Croker, I received a letter from my wife this day she writes me word you have two green books in your custody with papers of accounts and other papers relating to my children and their trustees whereof my Lord Harcourt is concerned; these accounts must be passed in Chancery and if any of the writings are lost you must be accountable for them wherefore you better send them to me or otherwise you will be put into those hands that will make you and to your cost and that quickly for I shall write to London about you for I do not conceive you had any business to concern yourself with those writings that does not belong to you and so I told you'. Enclosed with Croker's letter of 15 May to Charles Delafaye.
