That he has heard that the Duke of Norfolk intends to apply to the King for the nomination of somebody else as his deputy in the office of Earl Marshal. In a post script he says that notwithstanding the Duke of Norfolk's protest he would have executed the warrant [in relation to Joseph Walker] if the proper officers had attended to perform the ceremonial.
