A letter seeking money he has been promised by Lord Townsend, and giving further information concerning another book sent out of the gaol by Harris and [Alexander] Day alias Marmaduke Devenport, with the names of men of quality fraudulently linked to its subscription. Mentions the role of Lieutenant Colonel [Adam] Williamson. Promises to go abroad for five years.
