Folio 69. From Wm [William] Lock. To Charles Delafaye.
A letter concerning information previously given Lord Townsend, relating to forgery done in his name and that of other peers, the evidence for which is in the possession of Colonel [Adam] Williamson. The author [who is in Newgate prison, London] is now being attacked by two fellow prisoners at the instigation of those Lock has accused, and he requests the gaoler be sent instructions to keep him safe.
