A letter lobbying for the rectory of Greens Norton [Northamptonshire], mentioning that Doctor Egerton has two livings already, the Duke of Devon and Lord Cobham, and his own prebend in Worcester [Worcestershire]. A memorandum: 'The rectory of Greens-Norton is void by the cession of Mr Denne late rector possessed of the vicarage of Shoreditch, London. [signed] Wh: Peterbor [White Kennet, Bishop of Peterborough].'
