A subscription proposal for a volume by Sir Nicholas Pelham, for his 'The History of the Illustrious and Royal House of Hanover Together with the Present Happy State of Great Britain Under the Wise and Most Auspicious Reign of his Most Sacred Majesty King George'. An attached list shows the names of a large number of peers, including the Duke of Newcastle. There are two endorsement, the first being: 'I found this in the custody of Jacob Wm [William] Harris', witnessed by Wm [William] Lock; and the second being 'Alexander Day alias Marmaduke Davenport and Jacob William Harris'.
