Description

Folio 148. From Marina Hunloke. To Mrs Heneage. Place: [Benedictine Convent, Pontoise, France].

Letter dated May 9 new style from Marina Hunloke to her 'Dear Sister' Mrs Heneage in which she says that 'the bearer of the letter can give an exact account of the state of all affairs in this part of the world'. She mentions her niece Betty, Lord Widd[rington] and D[Dame] Placida.
