The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is a body in charge of regulating 15 health and care professions in the UK. HCPC achieves this by setting standards and approving programmes for professionals? education, training, practice and registration, and by maintaining a register of professionals and taking action when registered professionals do not meet the HCPC standards. HCPC is overseen by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).
