Folio 97. From Archbishop of Canterbury. To [?Charles, Viscount Townshend].
Enclosing a letter from Monsieur [Sir Luke] Schaub's secretary. Sir Luke may mention something of the matter in his letters to Lord Carteret but the Archbishop wanted Townshend to see what comes to his hands 'and the alarm of the whole country of Lausanne at what the rigid Calvinists are pushing on, to their utter ruin, at Berne'.
