Details and Outcome: Patient admitted suffering with a gunshot wound to the right thigh and a fracture of the right femur. Wound received 26 September 1916 at Thiepval. Patient is said to have had wound dressed on field by a stretcher bearer and laid out all night. Under course of treatment patient underwent multiple operations on femur and was fitted with multiple splints. Further details given. Includes two medical case sheets and two X-ray reports.
