Details and Outcome: Patient admitted suffering with mania. Patient is said to have been awaiting discharge at Sutton when he had some sort of nervous attack: - 'It appears that he cleared off in a car to Northampton and threatened his wife at home; says he went balmy and thought he was going to kill his wife - was removed to Northants Hospital (Duston)'. Is said to have all the symptoms of 'an advanced general paralytic'; 'demented and faulty in habits - dependent'. Takes but little nourishment of a liquid nature. Further details given. Patient 'gradually sank' and died 11 April 1919. Includes a medical case sheet only.
