Unit/Battalion/Regiment: C Battery, 82 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery [or D Battery, 158 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery].

Service number: 38780.

Age: 26.

Hospital(s): No.18 (Chicago USA) General Hospital; Huddersfield War Hospital.

Condition/Injury/Disease: Tuberculosis; Mastoiditis, Broncho Pneumonia and Influenza.

Details and Outcome: Patient admitted for two courses of treatment suffering from suspected tuberculosis, and suspected mastoiditis, broncho-pneumonia and influenza. During first course of treatment patient tested negative for tuberculosis. During second course of treatment patient diagnosed with 'acute influenza symptoms' 2 June 1919. Further details given. Patient died 5 February 1919. Includes three pathological laboratory reports, one medical case sheet, one clinical chart, a morning sick report and a note.
