Folio 172. Mary O'Bryan to the Duke of Newcastle. Petition that having previously laid her 'deplorable case' before the Duke and the Lords of the Regency she was promised by him that she would have justice done to her and now begs that he speak either to his brother [Henry] Pelham or Mr Spence so she may have some subsistence allowed to her or she and her family 'must inevitably perish'.
