Description

Folio 163. Henry Norris, Matthew Featherstonhaugh and Paul Daranda of London merchants in behalf of themselves and Richard Ridley, Nicholas Ridley, Nicho [Nicholas] Fenwick, Thomas Waters and the heirs of William Procter deceased of Newcastle merchants concerned in the Greenland whale fishery to the King. Petition for a charter of incorporation. [Possibly the petition referred to in the 'London Gazette' as 'being considered' by the Lords Justices on 12 July 1720].
