Description

Folio 110. Merchants, masters of ships, mariners and other inhabitants of Lyme Regis [Dorset] on behalf of themselves and others trading in the woollen manufacture and the fisheries to the King. Petition requesting that 'something be speedily done' to halt the depredations by the Salé Rovers [Barbary corsairs].
