Folios 96-97. Nicholas Lawless of Ballynekill [Ballinakill, near Maryborough, Queen's County, [County Laios] Ireland. Petitions to (1) the Duke of Newcastle that he is a native of Ireland 'but of an English extraction descended from most of the best and ancient families in Great Britain and Ireland', is now destitute, seeks 'some small post' and prays that the Duke lay the enclosed petition before the King; (2) the King praying for relief and employment.
