Folio 93. The merchants, traders and dealers in the woollen manufactures in Kingston upon Hull to the King. Petition that the decline in their business is, they believe, due to the prohibition of trade between Denmark and Hamburg and therefore pray that he intercede with the King of Denmark [Frederick IV] to settle the differences with Hamburg so that trade may be restored [with the Hanseatic cities] 38 signatures including that of John Collings the Mayor.
