Folios 85-86. Memorial of Sir Willm [William] Keith on behalf of the Province of New Jersey setting out five answers to the proposition 'that the gentleman whoever he be, that is appointed to succeed the late Colonel Cosby in the government of New York may perhaps insist to have the Province of New Jersey also under his direction, considering it probably not so much an addition to his profits, as to his power, and that his honour is concerned, not to be deprived of any share of authority held by his predecessor'.
