Folios 82-83. George Keith late [10th] Earl Marischal to the House of Commons. Petition praying for leave to bring in an enabling bill relating to his settled estate, any other estate which may come to him or the heirs of his body and also to pursue actions at law and to enjoy any personal estate or effects notwithstanding his attainder for High Treason [having taken part in the 1719 Jacobite Rebellion]. The Earl of Kintore is mentioned. [The petition was considered by a committee of the whole House on 15 January 1760].
