Folio 67. Robt [Robert] Jenkinson, Deputy Court Post to [the Post Masters General]. Petition for a place for his son-in-law William Large who served as armourer aboard HMS Royal Ann and 'there being no Fleet going out is destitute of employment'. Jenkinson says he has attended the Secretaries of State as Deputy Court Post for upwards of twenty seven years and never asked any favour before.
