Folio 107. Memorial of Monsieur [Jean Baptiste] Dagès de Souchard to the Duke of Newcastle, asking for the King to approve his application for 'his royal bounty' committee (Beneficence Royalle). Some of the directors and pensioners are challenging Newcastle's orders, arguing that 'accepting [such] a proselyte is a mistake'.
