Description

'Admiralty Reports 1744-1745'.

A manuscript notebook containing detailed notes of discussions in the High Court of Admiralty on prize cases, some with decrees, writen by an advocate engaged in the cases (possibly Crespigny: the authorship is discussed in a 7pp note by C J B Gaskoin added to the binding). Dates given are of the discussions: the ships were taken sometimes years earlier, and about 20 cases going back to the 1690s are cited.
