Description

Folio 178. Petition of Henry Brown, Joseph Coggin, Henry Wily, George Newton, John Camden, Israel Hammond and Samuel Marner gingerbread bakers on behalf of themselves and others to the King praying that, as many [gingerbread] bakers in London, Westminster and the country have not served an apprenticeship and sell their goods at 'under Rates' to the detriment of the trade, they be granted incorporation within the cities of London and Westminster and 90 miles around the same.
