Folio 127. Robert Elston, late commander of the 'St Christopher' galley, to the Duke of Newcastle. Petition for a speedy trial or his release from the Marshalsea where he is confined on charges of murdering two of his crew. He names Benjamin Bush as the informant against him and mentions going to the coast of Guinea for slaves. [Old Bailey On line gives the trial date as 30 June 1725].
